Alice Chiwaya
Apart from working with a local NGO called Save the Poor Foundation (SAPOF) based in Blantyre, Alice Chiwaya is also implementing some projects in Ntcheu District. She is a trained Agricultural Extension Worker who decided to join the Civil Society in order to serve the rural people and the community at large on another Platform. Having joined Save the Poor Foundation, a local NGO which is working in the areas of Education, Health, Women and Youth Empowerment and Advocacy as the Program Manager in 2013, Alice was appointed as the Executive Director by the Board of Trustees in 2017. Amongst her accomplishments, Alice has been elected as the Chairperson of Limbe Youth Network; Secretary of Blantyre Youth Network; Ambassador for Ball to Ball- a USA based Charity Organization. Through working with SAPOF, Alice successfully championed a campaign in targeted Primary and Secondary Schools in Blantyre and Ntcheu on the Education for All, making sure that vulnerable children are accessing good and quality Education.
Amanda Sauta
Social Work Student. -My name is Amanda Brenda Sauta, am a 23 year old student pursuing her bachelors in social work and in my last semester.
I am a social work club member in my varsity.
I also volunteer a lot and have had the chance to work with open arms, her period her pride, international youth alliance for family planning.
I am also a member of Gendem democracy and Youth Wave Malawi.my biggest strength is that am talkative and curious and the same time. My past time hobbies include watching anime and listening to music.
