A 23 year old Mchinji-based holder of  Diploma in Procurement & Supply Operations and a social worker by heart & passion. Am the founder/Director of Action For Change, Gender & SRHR advocate and Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) facilitator.

I believe the challenges young people face within their communities due to the lack of Sexual Reproductive Health information and services is a huge threat to the nation because first thing when empowering young people is to give them access to SRHR.

If we want to achieve meaningful inclusion and empowerment of young people, we need to fill out the gap that is hindering young people in accessing these services between the service providers and the beneficiaries. I am a vibrant youth leader who promotes Gender Equality and active participation when it comes to the development within our communities and at a national level.

Constantine Mitengo is a graduate of University of Malawi with a bachelors’ degree in social sciences (gender studies). He’s the founder and president of UMODZI YOUTH CLUB. As founder, he has mobiilized the youths of different educational and life experiences to join membership with Umodzi Youth Club. He has facilitated the training of youth members on issues of sexual and reproductive healthy rights and services, (school related) Gender Based Violence (GBV), gender equality, early/forced Marriages and Pregnancies, entrepreneurial skills and Environmental Management. During his time at college, Constantine was the co-founder of Gender Students Organization of Chancellor College (GSSOC). He’s also an active member of Community of Saint Egidio. A humanitarian catholic organization which works with the poor, elderly, street urchins and the imprisoned, sharing with them the gospel and basic life needs.
